How does it work?

Before treatment, one of our dental team will take a digital impression of your teeth using the iTero® scanner. This will enable us to put together a tailored treatment plan for you. This advanced software also allows us to create digital projections to show you what your teeth should look like at different stages during your Invisalign® treatment journey, and what they are expected to look like when it is complete. Your teeth are unique, so no two treatment plans are exactly the same.

After the scan, you will receive your first set of clear plastic retainers, fitted perfectly to your teeth. You will need to wear them at all times, except during mealtimes and taking them out for cleaning. The great thing about Invisalign® braces is that they are almost completely invisible; wearers often report most people not knowing that they are wearing braces at all!

You will receive multiple sets over the course of your treatment. Each new set will be slightly different, gently adjusting the position of your teeth, so smoothly that you’ll barely notice, apart from seeing the amazing results!

Depending on your teeth and your individual treatment plan, your treatment may last anywhere from a few months up to two years. The average treatment time is between 9 and 12 months.
